Where I work now (at the University cafeteria) we all get paid by the hour ($6.50, so it’s not all bad). We also sign up for each meal: breakfast, lunch, whatever we feel like working, and a “job” during each, such as salad bar, server, dish room, etc.. When we finish each job, we basically are done work and have to clock out.So, basically, everyone does there job one way:
a s   s l o w l y   a s   p o s s i b l e.

Who the hell thought hourly wages were a good idea? Didn’t the fools learn that increasing efficiency is the goal of a business if they want to maximize net profit?

I finally saw the new Shaft too. Very muddafuckin’ cool. Except what’s with Shaft not getting his groove on with any women? This is Shaft! I could dig it a lot more if he stopped swearin’ for a second and screwed someone.
