Vicente Fox from the PAN (Partido Accion Nacional, I think) was elected President of Mexico yesterday, the first time a non-PRI (Partido Revolucion Institutional) candidate has won in Mexican History. The campanas in Mexico are insane. I was there a couple of weeks ago, and even in small, unimportant towns, every single street and every single store is covered in campaign posters (”La propoganda” to the Mexicans).I don’t think I could deal with 20 pictures of George Bush over every intersection.
